#Likes4Lucas:  a short film that explores the redemption of a fictional YouTube star, Lucas Skyler.  Currently in post-production, halfway shot and partially-funded with an award-winning production team already in place, #Likes4Lucas will be released both as a standalone 22-minute film and as proof-of-concept for an eight-episode series.  Casting Directors are Aaron Schoonover and Bess Fifer, known for Apple TV+'s smash hit Severance; Mental Health Advisor is Ariel Stern, known for the Emmy Award-winning HBO series, Mare of Easttown.  A certified Gottman therapist/ESFT specialist, Stern’s goal is to help at-risk teens break negative patterns and rebuild self-respect.

“In order to save lives, we need to share more individual stories—stories that people can relate to, identify with.  Statistically, it’s a fact:  peers are the best allies for tangible change.  And if young people learn to recognize signs, to ask friends for help, it reduces the risk.  The goal is to make it OK to ask.”
